About the design inspiration: 

A one of a kind, specialty, handmade copper and glass bowl, inspired by my backpacking and hiking adventures through the pandemic. 

The painting/drawing is a reflection on the complex balance between micro and macro, exploring the infinite detail in nature juxtaposed with the expansive perspective of a distant horizon. 

A microcosm (representing our complex inner worlds) is repeated on a grandiose scale through layers and varying boundary lines. This macrocosm, or view of the big outer world, represents feelings that connect us to something bigger. Together, the minute details and overall expanse remind us that small thoughts and actions can lead to big impact.
