Zodiac made several sports models in the 50s-60s and were direct competitors to Rolex, Blancpain, and Tudor but are often looked over as they don't receive the same clout as the aforementioned companies. CASE & BRACELET
The stainless steel case is in excellent condition, exhibiting no notable evidence of previous polishing with honest wear present throughout. The case has fantastic bold lugs that amp up the watch's presence on the wrist. The Hermetic showcases a special snap-down case back that features an unusual water-resistant system, not unlike that found on its sibling model the Sea-Wolf. The watch comes supplied on a 2pc handmade ostrich leather strap.
DIAL & HANDS
The original silver 24-hour dial is in virtually flawless condition, exhibiting no damage and no notable age. The tritium lume plots have achieved a charming creamy patina and display no degradation under UV light inspection. The original black hands are also in perfect condition with matching tritium lume that exhibits no degradation when inspected under UV light.
